How to read a comparison

Every car in the comparison uses the same driving profile — same daily kilometers, driving days and location — so the difference in results comes from the vehicles themselves, not from different assumptions. The cheapest total isn't always the cheapest to fuel or maintain individually; check the full breakdown for each car, not just the bottom-line monthly figure, to see where the difference actually comes from.

Insurance is optional here too — toggle it on or off to see whether it changes which car comes out ahead. If the ranking flips, the decision is more sensitive to insurance than to the cars' underlying running cost.
